Booking & Payments

Booking: All appointments are booked and managed through The Supercanine’s online system.
Deposit: A non-refundable 15% deposit is required at the time of booking for one-off sessions. The balance (85%) is due at the time of service, paid directly to your trainer.
Packages: Package payments are collected in full at purchase. Packages expire 90 days after purchase unless otherwise specified.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellation Window: You may cancel or reschedule your session up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment without penalty (or 12 hours if otherwise agreed with your trainer).
Late Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment (or 12 hours if agreed), your card on file will be charged 50% of the full session fee. The 15% deposit remains non-refundable.
No-Shows: If you do not attend your session and do not cancel in advance, your card on file will be charged for 80% of the full session fee (minus the 15% deposit already paid). The deposit remains non-refundable.
Refunds:
  – One-off Sessions: Deposits are non-refundable. You are only charged for services actually rendered, except in the case of late cancellations or no-shows as described above.
  – Packages: Refunds for unused sessions are calculated based on the number of completed sessions, and any late cancellation or no-show fees will be deducted from your refund amount.

By booking, you authorize The Supercanine to charge your card on file for any late-cancellation or no-show fees as outlined above.

How Booking Works

  • All scheduling and payments are handled securely via our booking system.

  • Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email.

  • For your first session, an evaluation is included, and the owner must be present.

  • Service is limited to select Brooklyn neighborhoods (see our service area page for details).

Trainer Role & Client Responsibilities

  • Our trainers are independent professionals who deliver all services in line with the highest ethical standards (“Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive” or LIMA).

  • You are responsible for ensuring your dog is fit, healthy, and up-to-date on vaccines before any session.

  • Please update your trainer promptly about any schedule changes or health issues affecting your dog’s participation.

Safety & Liability

  • The trainer assumes full responsibility for your dog’s care during sessions.

  • The Supercanine is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during your dog’s session with the trainer.

  • By booking, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that all activities are at your own risk.

Client Communication

  • All communications about scheduling, payment, and changes should be made through The Supercanine’s official channels.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds for eligible sessions or package balances will be processed within 10 business days after your refund request, or after the expiration of a package.

Changes to Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website or booking platform.
