Please Ignore Me | Black

from $19.17

I designed this piece as one of the prizes for my August 2025 Challenge finalists. During the July Challenge, a fun tradition was brewing in our pack: Amy, one of my pack members and Driggy’s mom, always dresses Driggy in the cutest bandanas. Courtney (another pack member) and I decided to plot a surprise: collect photos of all Driggy’s different looks, turn them into a collage, and gift it to Amy.

That little moment sparked the idea for August’s Challenges prizes: a bandana of some sort!

Anyone who trains with me knows I’m a big advocate for teaching all dogs, even (and maybe especially) the super-friendly ones, to ignore people and other dogs unless invited by us.

This not only helps prevent and manage reactivity, but it’s also essential if we want to take them anywhere without them going nuts every time they see another human or dog.

In my experience, the hardest part isn’t actually training our dogs…it’s fencing off the humans!
People often approach, stare at, or try to touch our dogs without thinking 🤦‍♀️ For many of my clients, who are incredibly sweet and kind, it can feel awkward or even guilt-inducing when someone asks, “Can I touch your dog?”

👉 And that’s where this bandana comes in. It’s designed to make your job easier and filter out some of those uninvited interactions before they even start.

and this is how this bandana came to be: fun, practical, and rooted in the same training philosophy I live by :)
